The Magic Kingdom gets a Candid Camera
10 August 2012 | by (Buffalo, New York) – See all my reviews

I'm old enough to remember Allan Funt and his Candid Camera TV show from the Fifties and Sixties and the Disney Studios, have now got a 21st Century version of the show made for kids. In fact the kids are the pranksters and the mark is always some adult member of the family. I've often wondered just how contestants were chosen for shows like this and is there sitting in the vaults of the Magic Kingdom incidents of practical jokes that didn't quite work out as planned.

Wesley Dening from over the pond hosts the show and the special effects facilities of Disney Studios are used for all kinds of set up situations. We've certainly come a long way from Allan Funt.

Code 9 is nothing special, but harmless enough.
