BBC America is emerging as one of the networks making some very original and different series. “Orphan Black” has been a mainstay on the channel, and has a dedicated fanbase and a good amount of critical acclaim. “Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency” hasn’t been around very long, but most definitely falls under that aforementioned “different” category. Now, BBC America is gearing up production on another series titled “Killing Eve.”

Sally runs afoul of Hugo Friedkin and must rely on Dirk to come to her rescue!
At the end of Issue #7 of Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency we left “Big-haired” Dirk and Sally at the wrong end of Corporal Friedkin’s gun, as both delved further into the hidden world of the Blackwing Files. Knowing how trigger happy Friedkin can be, this outcome possibly isn’t the best place for our two time-hopping snoopers.
With smarts and the use of a loo, both Sally and “Big-haired” Dirk manage to scarper, leaving Friedkin behind to guard a restroom door. However, this swift exit for our two travellers leads to a conversation with Mr. Microwave, the series of inter-connected monitors that have been guiding Sally through the different time-streams and dimensions. This being Dirk’s first introduction a conversation is struck-up, just »

We’re picking up where we left off last week in this The Big Bang Theory season ten finale, and Sheldon is missing Amy. Devoid of anyone to willingly accompany him to weird events, Leonard is stuck back in his old role as faithful valet/companion, and he’s not enjoying himself.

Sally begins to pierce the mysteries of the Black Wing, as we follow the exploits of not one, not two, but three Dirks!
Idw Publishing’s Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency: The Salmon of Doubt is becoming the perfect partner piece for BBC America/Netflix’s Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency. Arvind Ethan David is weaving the strands of Dirk-lore very well between both comic book and show, whilst at the same time making sure the comic stays ever so slightly that bit more on the ‘odd’ side of the fence.
Here in Issue#7 of The Salmon of Doubt, subtitled ‘The Blackwing Files’ we meet up with “Big-haired” Dirk and Sally Mills; bundled in the back of the Rowdy 3’s van and currently on the way to “The Facility”, Dirk and Sally’s main conversation is more occupied with »

Villordsutch reviews Dirk Gently: The Salmon of Doubt #5…
Plagued by nightmares of a life he never had, Dirk Gently discovers that a holistic detective can have more than one past, and they’re about to catch up with him!
When is a Dirk Gently comic still brilliant, but in truth not actually a Dirk Gently comic? When it follows a certain Holistic Assassin through nearly all its pages and a even throws in a nod towards a certain Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy Rock God – that or an Estate Agents in London (depending on your Google search result).
Throughout the recent Netflix Dirk Gently TV series a cluster of characters were introduced, and the one which stuck within our collective brains the most was Bart(ine) Curlish, the Holistic Assassin. She wandered through the Universe, though isolated currently to Planet Earth, killing people who needed to be killed. Not »
