Sex & Nudity

  • Absolutely NONE , because there was no need for it at all.

Violence & Gore

  • No onscreen violence aside from a brief moment where a mans hand is sliced with a kitchen knife. However we see the aftermath of violence with some bloodied dead bodies, a mans bloodied face is also shown after being beaten and tortured offscreen, a woman is shown with some blood on her clothes.
  • A man's beaten, swollen, and bloody face is shown implying that he was tortured for a very long time.

Profanity

  • A few uses of "shit" and 1 use of "fuck." Other moderate language as well.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • A man is chained up to a contraption and is forced to cook crystal meth.
  • A flashback to meth cooking is shown.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Very intense and emotional.
  • Rated TV-MA for some violent content and language.
  • "Ozymandias," while not gory or that explicit in terms of violence, may be the most intense and emotionally traumatizing episode in the series. There are plenty of intense scenes with emotionally disturbing behavior and content.

Violence & Gore

  • A close up of the side of Hanks head after he is murdered, blood dribbles down the side of his head, his body is pulled away and leaves a blood trail on the sand. This isn't lingered on.
  • Gomez's corpse is shown with two big bloody bullet holes.
  • Hank is shown with a bloody bullet wound in his leg (blood is shown dripping). He is then shot in the head at point-blank range offscreen by Uncle Jack. Walt then collapses to the ground crying.
  • A wife slices her husband's hand with a knife. The wound (as well as some blood) is briefly shown.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The most intense scene of the episode is when Walt and Skyler wrestle each other after Skyler slashes Walt's hand. Walt then bites Skyler, mounts her and tries to stab her. Walter Jr. manages to pull him off of Skyler. After realizing that Walter Jr. called the police, Walt takes Holly and drives away. This scene is incredibly disturbing and intense.
  • Another disturbing scene is when we see Jesse locked inside a cage and his face is incredibly swollen and bloody implying that he was tortured for a very long time. He is then forced to cook meth.
  • Walter White basically loses his family in this episode because of what he has done to destroy it.
  • Walt verbally abuses Skyler over the phone in front of Marie and both their children.
