Storyline

Walt returns home to find Saul's car in his driveway with the door open. He goes in the back way believing Jesse is waiting for him but finds the house empty and gasoline all over the living room. He sets about cleaning the place up but unable to do so completely, he invents a story that Skyler sees through immediately. She tells him there's only one way to resolve the Jesse situation. Unbeknown to Walt, the reason Jesse wasn't in the house is that Hank had been following him and stopped him from setting the house on fire. He gets Jesse to tell his story but Hank still has no hard evidence. He wants Jesse to wear a wire but Jesse thinks there's a better way. Written by garykmcd

Trivia

Goofs

When Walt and Skyler are in the hotel room, Skyler is sitting on the bed and Walt is standing at the bar as they talk. Walt then starts making himself a drink, which appears to be a rum and Coke. Walt pours rum/alcohol into a glass then you can see and hear Walt open a can of soda, pour it into a glass then also hear the bubbling/fizzing of the soda, but then when Walt turns around it is only rum in his glass, there is no soda in the glass with the rum. Quotes

Walter White: His buddies, Beaver and what's-his-name?
Kuby: Uh, Badger and Skinny Pete. Yeah, no, he's not with them.
Walter White: They could be covering for him.
Kuby: I posed as a meter reader. I put a bug in the tall kid's mom's place. For three hours straight, all he talked about was something called Babylon 5.

intense
2 September 2013 | by (Lebanon) – See all my reviews

Waw these last two episodes are really intense..things are heating up and everyone is starting to imagine how this show will end and each ending is awesome!

Not gonna spoil anything but this episode is powerful, psychological and very dramatic and i love how Gilligan succeeded in creating tension with simply drama not just action and fighting.. acting is great as always, nice plot progression and my gut tells me that the next episode is going to be great! I mean I'm starting to feel the same tension i felt in the last few episodes of season 4!

10/10.
