Average B-Grade Flick with no real scares, 7 November 2014
Author: Shamis Sabri from www.themoviehog.tk

After a life threatening accident which Jessie survives, she moves to her old home to recuperate, unaware of a dark sinister presence which has been waiting for her.

The movie starts off well (or should I say in an expected clichéd manner) but on a propelling note. The premise is set well and the actors play to the tune accordingly and the performances all round are decent (nothing great but definitely average and above, a lot better than most b-grade horror movies). The direction is nice but what lacks in the movie is the script, which is not just odd and riddled with loopholes but also doesn't seem to create a lot of opportunities for scares.

There are very few scares in the movie and they are all jump scares. All. The atmosphere set in the movie is quite well and despite a good pace of the story, somewhere along the line it seems as if the director forgot that its a horror movie, it edges at times in the realms of psychology and mystery genres. But apart from the obvious lack of horror elements, the movie still manages to captivate the interest of the viewer right till the end.

Overall, its not something you would feel sorry for missing. Not a recommendation. Its just an average low budget horror movie with nothing exceptional or innovative and with barely no form of any kind of fan boy gratification of the genre.
