Our YouTube Millionaires column tracks channels that have surpassed YouTube's most significant milestone, but by the time some channels reach the million-subscriber plateau, they have changed dramatically from their initial concept. A great example is ThinkTank, which began in 2011 as Tyt University, a college-themed spin-off of The Young Turks (Tyt). In 2015, co-hosts John Iadarola and Hannah Cranston led a re-brand of the channel, molding it into a more general hub called ThinkTank. The pivot was a success, and now that ThinkTank is over one million subscribers, we sat down with Iadarola to talk about the process through which Tyt University morphed into something bigger.

Wigs isn’t the only YouTube channel that’s testing out Hulu waters. The Young Turks Network is hoping to make waves on the premium online video streaming service, too. The burgeoning online video brand that’s home to its eponymous flagship daily news program announced today it would be assembling a version of The Young Turks especially for Hulu. A 30-minute daily edition of The Young Turks will be available on the premium online video destination site and feature the top five or so stories of the day culled from The Young Turk Network's CEO and frontman, Cenk Uygur and The Young Turks' host, Ana Kasparian’s two-hour daily news show. But in addition to the news, The Young Turks Network will also put together a 30-minute weekly version of its pop culture talk show PopTrigger.
