Next to "Dads", Worst Show on TV
10 February 2014 | by (Canada) – See all my reviews

Talk about trying to pull laughs out of stale, stupid gags, in a totally stupid show. How brutal can it actually be? There is very little reality to this show, starting with the fat actress playing a "lawyer", who never seems to do any work, talk intelligently, or garner any respect from anyone. Perhaps this is the concept they are shooting for. An Englishman plays a hunky colleague the fat one likes, but he might as well be gay...he is as effeminate as the women in the show. Again no realism. Add the "hot" lawyer who is her boss, and she is more unattractive than the fat one. Could the casting director not put some totally hot little actress in there to bring some much needed decent fluff to the show? The whole thing has no realism, the script is absolutely terrible from show to show, and the situation comedy is non existent. Even her friends aren't equipped with any witty dialogue, have no character development behind them, and add little to the show. I gave it a chance for a few episodes but realized fast what a dud this was. If this is a shot at depicting the more "real" people we have in society such as the sitcom "Mike and Molly", the producers have really missed the boat here with the concept, actors and the entire premise. Mike and Molly at least has some great writing, this show doesn't. They could have done a lot with this, had they done it right. But they didn't.
