19 hours ago | PEOPLE.com | See recent PEOPLE.com news »

Kristen Bell is accustomed to getting glammed up for red carpets, for her roles in movies and on TV, and for her jobs as the face of Neutrogena and now, Fossil smartwatches. And naturally, her daughters Delta, 2, and Lincoln, 4, love to emulate their mom by borrowing her makeup.  “Mostly they’re just into lipstick right now. And 90 percent of the time they ask, which is great,” Bell tells PeopleStyle. “They’ll say ‘Can I put lipstick on?’ and I’m like ‘Sure.’ So I just have a bunch of smushed down lipsticks because they’re experimenting with colors,” Bell says. »

Gigantic: Disney scraps its Jack And The Beanstalk movie

10 October 2017 9:35 PM, PDT | Den of Geek | See recent Den of Geek news »

Simon Brew Oct 11, 2017

Disney has - for now - pulled the plug on its planned animated movie, Gigantic.

Walt Disney Animation Studios has pulled the plug on Gigantic, its long-announced Jack And The Beanstalk-inspired movie. The film had originally been given a 2018 release date, before recently being shunted back to 2020. But now – and this hasn’t happened with an announced Disney animated feature in as long as we can remember (King Of The Elves, based on a Philip K Dick story, is the only one that springs to mind) – the film has been scrapped altogether.

Ed Catmull, president of Walt Disney and Pixar Animation Studios, released a statement that reads:

It’s impossible to know when we begin a project how the creative process will unfold, and sometimes, no matter how much we love an idea or how much heart goes into it, we find that it just isn’t working. »

After spending more than two years in development, Disney is giving the axe to its Jack and the Beanstalk project Gigantic. Disney has yanked the November 25, 2020 release date for this Jack and the Beanstalk musical, with the studio stating that they hit a creative wall, so to speak, with the project. Here's what Walt Disney and Pixar Animation Studios president Ed Catmull had to say about why they pulled the plug on Gigantic.

"It's impossible to know when we begin a project how the creative process will unfold, and sometimes, no matter how much we love an idea or how much heart goes into it, we find that it just isn't working. With Gigantic, we've come to that point, and although it's a difficult decision, we are ending active development for now. We are focusing our energies on another project that has been in the works, which we'll be sharing more about soon, »

Teen Titans Go! Movie Poster Announces Title and Cast

9 October 2017 4:53 PM, PDT | MovieWeb | See recent MovieWeb news »

The recently announced Teen Titans Go! Movie is shaping up quite nicely. News recently broke that Warner Bros. Animation is planning a movie based on the popular Cartoon Network series in theaters next summer. Now, the studio has confirmed the title for the movie, as well as firming up the cast, which brings in some familiar voice actors from the DC Universe. Most notably, The Lego Batman Movie's Will Arnett will be in the movie, which is officially titled Teen Titans Go! To the Movies.

In addition to Will Arnett, the Teen Titans Go! movie is bringing in Kristen Bell (Frozen). There's no word yet on who either of them will be playing, but since Will Arnett voices Batman in both The Lego Batman Movie and The Lego Movie, it seems pretty safe to assume he will be reprising his role as The Dark Knight in Teen Titans Go! »

Josh Gad Says Frozen 2 Will Be Worth The Wait

2 October 2017 8:51 AM, PDT | We Got This Covered | See recent We Got This Covered news »

When Frozen arrived in cinemas in 2013, its quick progression from hit movie to global phenomenon took many by surprise. As it turned out, the world clearly needed a story of sisters helping each other, and friends working together for the benefit of their community. Its global box office take of $1.3 billion earned it a spot in the top ten highest grossing films of all time – ninth, to be exact – and made the prospect of a sequel inevitable. However, there’s been little in the way of news or fanfare around Frozen 2 – until now.

Returning cast member Josh Gad – who plays snowman Olaf – has Tweeted a photograph taken as he began recording lines for the developing sequel:

It’s such a joy 2 back in the booth after this journey began 5 long years ago. The creative team has come up with a story worth the wait #F2 pic.twitter.com/RGYK »
