Storyline

After making their way through high school (twice), big changes are in store for officers Schmidt (Jonah Hill) and Jenko (Channing Tatum) when they go deep undercover at a local college. But when Jenko meets a kindred spirit on the football team, and Schmidt infiltrates the bohemian art major scene, they begin to question their partnership. Now they don't have to just crack the case - they have to figure out if they can have a mature relationship. If these two overgrown adolescents can grow from freshmen into real men, college might be the best thing that ever happened to them. Written by Sony Pictures Entertainment

Trivia

When Jenko and Zook first bump into each other and Jenko drops his Q-tip into Zook's sandwich, they end up calling it a "meat cute". In movie terminology, a meet cute is when two romantic partners meet for the first time, foreshadowing their 'bromance'. See more »

Goofs

When Schmidt receives the threatening texts from Captain Dickson, his name as well as his photo is displayed with each message. This only happens when a number is saved into the phone and a photo is assigned to it. So when Maya asks him "Why does my dad have your phone number?", his covering lie about getting it from the School Directory shouldn't work as she would be wondering why Schmidts phone doesn't just display her fathers number and a blank profile pic... Quotes

Schmidt: [while hanging from a helicopter] There's a grenade in my shorts, can you reach it? Go in from underneath!
Jenko: Oh, shit! Is that it?
Schmidt: No, that's my dick!
Jenko: What about that?
Schmidt: That's my dick also!
Jenko: Why is it hard?
Schmidt: I'm so full of adrenalin right now!

Successfully Jumping Back On The Street
18 June 2014 | by (Worcester, England) – See all my reviews

My initial expectations were that '22 Jump Street' would be an over-the- top and cheesy sequel created solely to make money... I was wrong. '22 Jump Street' truly builds on the basis of the first film, further expanding upon the bromantic chemistry between Tatum and Hill creating an even more solid sequel full of good-natured humour and relentless action that made its predecessor such a great film. With Ice Cube having more of an impact this time round, the trio pursue their leads to ensure the villains are brought to justice. The direction duo have pulled off another amazing film to add to their filmography, a truly impressive and hilariously funny film.
