Hero is the Common Denominator Here 2.19 ***1/2, 8 April 2012
Author: edwagreen from United States

*** This review may contain spoilers ***

Hero is definitely the common denominator here.

When our youngest officer saves a baby during a smoky fire, the publicity could very well blow his undercover work; as a result, his partner has to take credit for doing the saving and this really does pose some sort of ethical dilemma when there is a gathering to salute him for his "heroiosm."

In the second story, a young son refuses to believe that his father committed suicide. This leads Danny, who had recently met the man at a school event for their children, to investigate. Some mighty interesting things are discovered during his investigation. We get to visit the old story of building inspectors collecting payoffs to state that the work was properly done. Of course, it is shown that the first investigation was apparently carelessly done.
