The Angry Video Game Nerd (as James D. Rolfe)

After a 6 month hiatus, the Nerd is back. And to honor his return to reviewing bad and challenging games, he decides to review some Schwarzenegger games for the NES. Mainly due to Schwarzenegger returning to acting after finishing his term as Governer. When it comes to Arnold, his action films are always appealing to watch. As for video game adaptations it's the complete opposite. They either don't feature the main character to resemble Arnold or the game-play and level layouts are a complete mess. The Nerd saved all of the criticism for the Predator game for the NES. Mainly due to the pink camos for the jungle levels, Predators being too easy to kill, and weird enemies that don't belong in the Predator universe. Written by J LeGault

I'm a big fan of AVGN, and I always love to see the new content that he posts. That being said, I, and I think many others, are noticing that his most recent videos (this one obviously included) have been a bit....shall we say....lacking? To be more specific, he doesn't seem to be putting as much heart and energy into his reviews and insults as he would normally do. In other words, he doesn't seem to be as...well.....angry. That's not to say that the video suffers a great deal because of that, but I think it's still noticeable.

Of course, I think that a lot of that is probably due to the fact that he's very busy with his feature-length movie and probably doesn't have enough time to devote to his game episodes, and that's certainly forgivable. But I thought I would just say what a lot of us (or maybe not, I've just seen a few comments that seemed to agree with mine) are probably thinking.

So yeah, this definitely does not mean that I harbor any negative views. AVGN is still one of my favorite reviewers on the internet, and I really look forward to seeing his movie and his future episodes.
