Correct but not to the full of its potentiality

--In a fictional feudal Japan occurs a strange epidemic that mostly affects men, leaving a country with a low percentage in comparison to women; so eventually the power has become a matriarchy. Shogun and daimyo are almost all women. The film has a lot of potential in its history, but fails to develop; shows slightly: Love in its different facets. Power and loneliness go side by side. The powerful people that turns a blind eye to the reality of most. Absolute power, with the abuse of that power taking naif or bad decisions that affects the life of millions. No matter the social class, we could all live the same sorrows and loneliness (or the good times) -The director could have made a great drama, however it is only effective half hour of the film (at 3/4 towards the end); the remain part is just a fill. Interestingly, as it can be seen the role of women as objects but this time played by men. true locations in general (I was in the majority) but adding by computer, other buildings. The camera movements are too "Hollywoodesque" and in some cases the director use and abuses the same technique. Costume and staging are well done as usual in these films.
