The filming location for Santa Maria, Cape Verde in the episodes "Wanted" and "Most Wanted" is actually San Juan, Puerto Rico. San Juan's colonial-era Spanish forts Castillo del Morro and Castillo de San Cristobal (a landmark that Peter asks for as soon as he arrives), and other landmarks of the neighborhood of Old San Juan are clearly visible in many of the scenes of the episodes. The people on the island speak Spanish, predominantly spoken in Puerto Rico, not Portuguese as predominantly spoken in Cape Verde. See more
