Last year, we saw the debut of From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series, which brought the Tarantino-penned/Robert Rodriguez-directed film to the small screen, in a very different approach. It was quite the interesting series, taking turns that were very unexpected and different than the film, which set the TV series on its own path. Now with the August 25th premiere of From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series, Season Two set to make its debut, Austin TX mayor Steve Adler has made August 25th “From Dusk Till Dawn Day”, in a celebration held at Troublemaker studios.

Zoë Kravitz is growing up in the Golden Age of hip-hop in a new trailer for Dope.

Kravitz stars with Shameik Moore (Incredible Crew) and rappers A$AP Rocky and Tyga in a comedy about young people coming of age in the early 1990s.

Dope was written and directed by Talk To Me and Brown Sugar filmmaker Rick Famuyiwa.

Famuyiwa has amassed a large ensemble cast including Workaholics co-creator Blake Anderson and NBA star Rick Fox for the upcoming movie.

Academy Award winner Forest Whitaker provides narration for the movie, with executive producers including Puff Daddy and Pharrell Williams.
