Storyline

In order to get back at his dad, Bart goes undercover as a graffiti street artist and plasters Homer's unflattering image all over Springfield. But one night, Bart and Milhouse get caught in the act by established street artists Shepard Fairey, Ron English, Kenny Scharf and Robbie Conal, and to Bart's surprise, they invite him to exhibit his satirical artwork in his very own gallery show. Meanwhile, a hip, new health food superstore opens in Springfield that threatens to put Apu and the Kwik-E-Mart out of business. Written by Fox Publicity

Pretty darn enjoyable, even if you've never heard of Banksy

This episode was poignant, relevant, and humorous at the right time. Exit through the gift shop was such a terrific under seen film, the fact that the writers of the Simpsons were smart enough to realize that it had parody potential speaks to the staff. This episode makes fun of the street art graffiti movement while also admonishing its current artists. It also satirizes the fact that only the super rich are the ones who believe that this kind of art is worthy of being owned. This episode was sort of an "angry dad" for the new millennium. Homer is mad at Bart for involving him as the butt of the joke and he is made a laughing stock by the whole town. I'd buy an original "dope by Bart" piece. liked this one.
