Split Decision is unanimously a hit ! Contradiction intended...

I was lucky last summer (2012) to be invited to attend the world premiere of "Split Decision" by the very respected young film director Antoine Allen. I love this film, Mr. Allen's writing and direction are superb. Mr. Allen assembled a very fine cast to tell the story of a young woman whose private life comes into sharp contrast with familial as well as societal expectations. I liked the casting, the actors did a great job at portraying stereotypical contrasts and family roles as well as the difficulties of a young person struggling to be open about their love life. I have seen many short films and I realize the genre of short film is usually hit or miss. In short films there is frequently a lot of overlap and unoriginal story lines, but "Split Decision" will keep you entertained and make you think, right up to the point that everyone is brought into the loop, whether they want to or not. Special kudos to Marquis C. Mosley for great editing....Congratulations Mr. Allen and cast. Enjoy!
