2.17 is ****
10 March 2012 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

Still another terrific episode in this acclaimed series. Brother cop and sister D.A. match wits when she is prosecuting a woman in the murder of her husband, and the defense attorney is soon murdered as well.

As Danny begins to investigate the latter murder, he soon has doubts and there is really an excellent exchange when he is called by the defense to testify.

Not even the usual family Sunday dinner can calm things down. The end is a real surprise here because it turns out that both Danny and his sister were wrong. There were really 2 separate murders involved here with different murderers.

This episode again shows that the obvious killer business can't always be counted on. There are different nuances that have to be explored, and they were explored quite well in this excellent show.
