Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that, instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, you use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Several sex scenes throughout. However they never show any nudity , and are not graphic.

There are scenes where Amy describes abuse by her husband, they all turn out to be fake and made up. In one scene she describes Nick shoving her into a wall. We see this in a 'flashback'.

Amy uses an IV tube to draw blood, and she pours it the floor and smears it around to make it look like a crime scene.

A character hits herself in the eye with a hammer to make it look like she's been abused. Amy has sex with Desi , and during the moment he's about to climax, she slits his throat with a box cutter, blood pours and sprays everywhere. She becomes fully covered in blood, and still proceeds to choke him whilst he squirms around and bleeds.

[spoiler]There is a scene where Amy aggressively inserts the neck of champagne bottle into herself to make it appear that she had been violently raped by Desi. Nothing is shown below the waste.[spoiler]

50 uses "fuck". Uses of milder bad language include bitch, ass, asshole, damn, hell, bastard and dick. The c word

Characters are seen drinking alcohol, including wine and champagne, at a dinner party

Nick owns a bar called The Bar, and he and his sister are seen drinking frequently.

There is some infrequent moderate threat in some scenes, including when a woman is trapped insider her house by two thieves.

The mindset of some of the characters in the film could be seen as disturbed and aberrant.

Rated R for a scene of bloody violence, some strong sexual content/nudity, and language
