British actor Mandy Takhar has unveiled the item track 'Pinky Punjabi', from upcoming release Bumboo. The Wolverhampton-born star left the UK over six years ago to work as a model and actor in the Indian film industry. "The music video is said to be giving the likes of 'Chikni Chameli' and 'Sheila Ki Jawani' a run for its money," a statement revealed. Takhar has previously starred in the Punjabi film Ekam opposite singer Babbu Maan. Vuclip, the world's largest independent mobile video service company has also announced that it will be promoting the forthcoming comic thriller Bumboo as the mobile partner for the movie. The Bumboo movie team is on a full fledge promotional spree. The director/producer Jagdish Rajpurohit, lead actor Kavin Dave & Sharat Saxena were promoting the movie at the Atharva college fest. The team was felicitated and awarded well by the evennt managers and authorities.
The students had several cultural programs and dance performances and the guests, aka Bumboo stars had a great time promoting their movie which is all set to release on the 30th of March, 2012.
Bumboo is a remake of French cult classic L’emmerdeur and now is remade Bollywood. But looking at the promos it is evident that it is going to leave the audiences laughing for a very long time.

The music of upcoming comedy movie Bumboo was recently held at Big FM office in Mumbai. Along with singer Sunidhi Chauhan, music director Santosh Singh, lyricist Shadab Akhtar, director Jagdish Rajpurohit and the cast of the movie Sumit Kaul and Sharat Saxena were present.
Considered the first official remake of a French film, Jagdish clarified, “I don’t consider it a remake, I consider it an adaptation.
