Jonathan Demme sits down to talk about the finishing touches on NEIL YOUNG: HEART OF GOLD. This ten-minute featurette has the director talking how normally you film a movie, edit it together and then once it's together you add music or songs to make it better. He talks about with the concert film the music is already there so you must try and come up with a story structure simply from the artist on stage doing his thing. Not only do we get the Demme interview but there's also plenty of behind-the-scenes footage from mixing the soundtrack to other bits and pieces of the post-production. The entire time you really get the feel as if you're sitting in the control rooms as they mix the soundtrack and try to get as much out of it as they can. Fans of the film will certainly enjoy getting to see the mix done.
