Louie The Late Show Part 2
14 September 2012 | by (Ireland) – See all my reviews

Last week with this idea of a talk show for Louie it was a smart idea and now we will see how the two parts turn out. The opening of the episode between Louie and his ex wife paired with that music worked very well for me and it is written to me as if Louis really wants Louie to do this but he is not sure if he will. Then we get some more scenes made to more then they are featuring some more music in the background. With an awkward audition it seems even more and more Louie does not think he is ready but at least in all this confusion we are getting more and more cameos from Jay Leno and once again Chris rock who when on this show is the voice of reason. Then on to the try out of Louie doing his opening monologue and of course he cannot do it but needs to be shown how to do it by Jack. Off to the gym Louie goes to get beaten up by a boxer so he can get in shape for the show is suppose to be doing. This episode was nothing that special to me but I think this may be the most high profile guest stars we've seen in an episode, they included returning Jay Leno and Chris Rock but also Academy Award nominee David Lynch did a very good cameo I thought. Once again this episode was fun but nothing really happened as I feel in these first two parts they were setting up for something to happen in the third part of the episode so maybe that will be an episode to remember.

EPISODE GRADE: B (MVP: Louis C.K.)
