Sex & Nudity

  • There is some scenes with graphic sexual content, and some milder humorous content.

Violence & Gore

  • There is lots of violence in Jormungand, with the main character being an arms dealer.
  • There gunfights happening constantly, usually with multiple people dying, sometimes in a bloody illustration.
  • There are a few scenes of people gunning down innocent civilians.
  • There is a fair amount of blood, but none of it is obscenely graphic, while it can look unsettling.
  • LOTS of explosions.


  • Fuck, Shit, Bitch, Ass, and Damn are used consistently throughout the show in both languages, with the English being a bit more frequent, but censored.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • One of the characters smoke.
  • One person tries to pay with drugs, but is refused and killed.
  • There is multiple scenes of people being drunk.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • There isn't much on screen that is immediately frightening, but there are multiple things that when taken into account, can be very disturbing.
  • The second main character is a child soldier. There is multiple scenes of violence against children.
  • This show is meant for young adults, and most likely should not be viewed by children at least 16 years of age. The lowest recommended age for watching is around 13, but even then apply parental guidance before letting your child watch.

Violence & Gore

  • Sometimes the tactics the good guys use are completely overkill, or vice versa. In one scene, they send a B52 Bomber to kill 3 people, Hex and her two henchmen.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The main character's goal is to bring world peace by launching rockets and denying sea and air travel, however in turn, sacrificing 700,000 people in effect of activating said rockets.
  • Some of the characters are mentally ill and/or are sick in the head. For example, Orchesta is a group of 2 hit men who do brutal things to kill their enemies, like hooking up a man to a timer with a gun attached to it, it firing every few seconds, eventually killing him. However, as they walk away, hearing his screaming, they remark that he has a good singing voice, as they regard violence as music
