Robbie Amell has joined The CW's Tomorrow People revamp.
The Revenge actor will play the character Stephen in the sci-fi drama, TVLine reports.
The Tomorrow People - which follows a team of young people who develop special abilities - is based on the UK series that aired between 1973 and 1979.
Amell's character is described as a "tortured" young man who longs to become normal. The 24-year-old actor joins Mad Men's Peyton List and Home and Away's Luke Mitchell in the pilot, from Julie Plec (The Vampire Diaries) and Greg Berlanti (Arrow).
Arrow star Stephen Amell - who is related to Robbie - congratulated him on his casting on Twitter, writing: "So incredibly proud of Robbie Amell #Family"
Robbie Amell's past credits include stints on Revenge, Alcatraz and new NBC comedy 1600 Penn.
