Five O-detectives Danny Williams and Chin Ho Kelly join Cullen and Sam on a Honolulu-LA flight in pursuit of Jarrod Prodeman, who stole a deadly small pocks virus. His fellow passenger Sharon Walker died aboard, but the contagion risk is still containable and Jarrod, although an epidemiologist, was mislead by a colleague, Dr. Rachel Holden, who must plan an apocalyptic spread plot given her planetary balance theories. Sharon's sister Carol puts the team on the trace of her accomplice, a thief. Written by

When Hetty prepared to give Deeks, Chin Ho Kelly, and Danny Williams the smallpox vaccine, she prepare to give it as a standard injection. The smallpox vaccine is given as a series of skin pricks using bifurcated (two-pronged) needle that is dipped into the vaccine solution. This is the vaccine that is responsible for that small round scar on the upper arm of most Americans born before 1972 (when the US stopped routine vaccinations). It also takes several days before one develops a skin reaction so Deeks' pain isn't accurate either. See more
