No badge or ID
Jeffdice197527 October 2022
When the black patrolman is on his way to work and gets pulled over by a white policeman, he tells the white policeman that he does not have his badge or ID with him. That is stupid. He was going to work so he had to have his badge when he got to work and he also had to have his ID. And he knew, by being a policeman, that you stayed in your car until you were told to exit the car. This was a stupid storyline. Also, they would never have let the wife be near the crime scene and dealing with her ex-husband. They knew she would be want to spoil what they were trying to set up. Also, officers and prep areas were quite visible to the suspect in the apartment. Again, writers were very stupid about this storyline.

Typical Hollywood stereotype white cop

Warning: Spoilers
As important as racial issues are between law enforcement and the community, the entire scene of Andre getting pulled over was entirely cringeworthy. The show has been decent up to this point but this 'Dhar Man' quality acting was a swing and a miss. So many other cop shows have tackled this issue so I'm not sure how it was fumbled so badly here.

The rest of the episode wasn't much better. I get crime dramas have to have a certain amount of suspense but the whole hostage/bomb scene didn't feel an ounce like a real situation.

Bonus complaint: A church can not give sanctuary to felon criminals... Why is the priest able to bully a cop out of the church. Make it make sense.
