Storyline
The firm is facing bankruptcy and is trying to avoid liquidation. David Lee has announced that he is leaving and taking his lucrative divorce practice with him. A judge agrees to to allow them to reorganize and appoints a trustee, Clarke Hayden, to oversee the process. He casts a wary eye on everything from the art work to the fact that Diane and Will are co-managing partners. He proves surprisingly helpful when it comes to David Lee however. Alicia is juggling several balls as she tries to keep her son Zack out of jail after he's stopped by an aggressive State Trooper. Zack actually comes up with a very practical weapon for his defense. Alicia is also having to deal with a political reporter, Peggy Byrne, who wants to know more about her personal life than she is prepared to provide. Kalinda meanwhile has to deal with her husband, who has now arrived in Chicago. Written by

Last Season we left Kalinda with a knock and Alicia at her family home. The door opens and it is not her husband but someone here to represent him. As they talk he reaches for his side pocket and she pulls her gun on him. Then as she reaches for a ringing phone he starts to attack her but she fights with him hitting his hand with a sledgehammer, then she answers the phone telling him it's her money. We fade to Alicia in her sons car and a police officer pulls up behind them, she then accuses him of profiling. As he checks the car she calls for help. The dog does scratch so her checks the car, Eli has a problem with her being late for an interview with Peggy Byrne (Kristen Chenoweth), then Zach fails to do what he is told and gets arrested. When the crew come back to the office Kalinda's husband Nick (Marc Warren) is waiting but Alicia has a previous appointment with Peggy. A trustee Clarke Hayden (Nathan Lane) is assigned to the firm and he has some changes to make in this with the limited budget the firm has. Zach finds out that there was no audio recorded, so additional charges are made. Kalinda does see her husband go into a room with Alicia, he asks for Kalinda but she is not there. She goes to him in the elevator and they have it out punching each other even outside the elevator. Peter is at the house so Alicia tells him the problems she is having with the police force. Clarke asks Diane to push out Will but he tried to do the same thing, Peter gets involves and gives a threat to the police officer who accepts it. Kalinda goes back in bed with her husband only to have control over him. As Nick looks around she faces a gun to him to force him to go. Zach then makes a video about the job officer Rob and how it compares to other arrests he has made, he then gets a call saying the charges are all dropped. Will is then made a lawyer again and celebrates with Diane. Nice return and Archie Panjabi was on fire and Marc matched her at ever corner, also the case of the week was interesting.
