Trivia

The surf shack was built by the show's construction department and assembled on the beach for the scenes that took place there. During filming there was a full moon, which brought in the tide to form a tidal pool that came right up to the base of the surf shack. It was so close the crew had to dig a drainage ditch (by hand) to keep the water away. Murphy's bar at the end of the episode where Jim surprises Callie is actually Dicey Riley's in downtown Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The beach scenes were filmed at Crandon Beach on Key Biscayne in Miami. See more »
