Hart was joined on the panel by co-stars Boris Kodjoe, Duane Martin, Nelly and Cynthia Kaye McWilliams as well as showrunner Ralph Farquhar.

Does digital data offer indicators that can be used to monitor marketing effectiveness and predict box office success even before awareness turns into intent? Moviepilot – which studies social data and box office trends – analyzes this weekend’s new movies across Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and Google (the methodology behind the numbers is laid out in the appendix below) over the seven days leading up to their release, when marketing campaigns should be at their peak.
“Dracula Untold,” Universal
Moviepilot Prediction: $23 million
“Dracula: Untold” could be in a cold-blooded battle with “Gone Girl” for box office glory. Digital tracking has the movie set to bite off an impressive $23 million for the weekend.
This summer’s fantasy hit “Hercules” topped “Untold” on YouTube views by almost 12 million (with similar Buzz), but millions of views can be added to “Untold” when including Facebook video, with over a million views on one trailer post. Thanks »

The film, which earned $245.4 million in U.S. theaters and ranks as the year’s No. 4 movie in terms of box office gross, shot to the top of the Nielsen VideoScan First Alert sales chart, which tracks overall disc sales, Blu-ray Disc and DVD combined, as well as Nielsen’s dedicated Blu-Ray Disc sales chart.
The Universal Studios comedy “Neighbors,” which debuted at No. 1 on both sales charts the prior week, slipped to No. 2. According to Nielsen research, “Neighbors” sold just 13% as many copies its second week in stores as “Transformers” moved its first week in stores. The disparity was even greater on Blu-ray, with “Neighbors” selling less than 7% as many units – which isn’t surprising, given that “Transformers” generated a whopping 63% of its total »

Meanwhile, 20th Century Fox’s “The Fault in Our Stars,” a romantic drama that earned $124.8 million in theaters, held up remarkably well its sophomore week, remaining at No. 2 on Nielsen VideoScan’s First Alert sales chart, which tracks overall disc sales, Blu-ray Disc and DVD combined. But Key isn't the only new cast member entering the mix. Think Like a Man Too and Scary Movie franchise star Regina Hall is also coming on board, »

The 'Wedding Ringer' stars talk about working together back stage at 'DWTS'.
However, the bombastic funnyman wasn't content with just judging dancers, he needed to get some dancing done of his own. And to help, he brought in Broadway star – and voice of Frozen's Olaf – Josh Gad to do a tuxedo-clad hand jive.
However, before the show, Hart and Gad, who co-star in the upcoming romantic comedy The Wedding Ringer, stopped to talk to Et's Kevin Frazier about the amount of rehearsal time their routine took to master, and soon the conversation drifted towards Hart demonstrating his musical talents.
Specifically, he sang a few lines from a play he supposedly starred in called "Pistol Pete". The »

Between his performances in Ride Along and Think Like A Man Too, Kevin Hart made audiences laugh quite a bit in the first half of 2014, and pushed his star further up in its rise. Around the same time Ride Along was making a boatload of money for Universal, Josh Gad was still yucking it up as the magical snowman Olaf in Disney's highest grossing movie ever, Frozen. Now it looks like they're going to try and merge their fates into one, gigantic comedic venture that could spawn a lot more opportunities for the two - including a possible franchise. Yahoo exclusively scooped up the new trailer to The Wedding Ringer, a movie in which Gad plays a groom with no friends to be there for him on his big day. Having no other options, he hires Jimmy (Hart), a man who does this sort of thing for a living and »
It’s been a breakout year for both Kevin Hart and Josh Gad. The former has starred in hit after hit with About Last Night, Ride Along, and Think Like a Man Too. And Hart is showing no signs of slowing down with two more films slated for 2014 (School Dance and Top Five) and The Wedding Ringer (trailer above), which hits theaters on Jan. 16, 2015.
In the new movie, Hart stars as Jimmy Callahan, the owner and CEO of Best Man, a company that provides friendless grooms with a selection of best men to fill out their wedding parties. One of his clients happens to be Doug Harris, played by Gad, who is following up the unstoppable Frozen with another major leading role.
Together, the two are a winning comedic duo that is sure to fill theaters with laughs come this winter. “The two of us complement each other in a wild, »
The flood of high-profile new releases continues, with new Blu-ray Discs and DVDs accounting for seven of the top 10 sellers on Nielsen VideoScan’s weekly overall disc sales chart for the week ending Sept. 21.
At the top: Warner’s “Godzilla” remake-of-a-remake-of-a-remake, which easily debuted at No. 1 on both the First Alert chart, which tracks combined Blu-ray Disc and DVD sales, and Nielsen’s dedicated Blu-ray Disc sales chart.
The summer theatrical blockbuster grossed more than $200 million in U.S. theaters, nearly 50% more than Sony Pictures’ 1998 retelling of the classic horror story of a giant dinosaur wreaking havoc on modern civilization.
Coming in at No. 2, also on both charts, was 20th Century Fox’s “The Fault in Our Stars,” a romantic drama that earned $124.8 million in theaters. The film, which boasts a cast of young stars familiar to teens through movies like “Divergent,” sold 82.8% as many units as “Godzilla” its first week in stores, »
