This short but chilling documentary is related from the perspective of serial killer Lawrence Bittaker. Jonah Young, the actor cast in the title role, bears an uncanny resemblance to him. If you haven't heard of this monster, Lawrence Bittaker and Roy Norris met in prison where the latter was serving a sentence for rape. Although both highly intelligent, they were also outsiders; forming a fatal bond, they agreed that on release they would kidnap, rape, torture and murder teenage girls. And they did precisely that.

Fortunately for Mankind if not for their five young women, they couldn't resist bragging about their crimes, playing tapes of their screaming victims to their associates; one of them came forward, and the police didn't hang about.

Norris was arrested first, and spilt the beans on his partner-in- crime. If you can stomach this, you will find footage of the real Bittaker on YouTube. Like the Manson "family", Bittaker and Norris operated in California, but next to dominant partner Bittaker, the fiendish Manson looks positively angelic.
