The squad investigates the murder of Derek Hanson, a man who runs Shannon House, an organization dedicated to rescuing prostitutes who have been forced into the sex trade and cannot get out. He named Shannon House after his teen-aged sister who was killed when she tried to get away. Police, responding to the report of a young girl seen jumping from a window at the house, find Derek in his home office with his throat cut, neck broken and two other equally fatal stab wounds. From the evidence, it's not clear if Hanson was simply helping the girl or had other interests in these girls. When a State senator takes an interest in the case, he assigns his aide to monitor the investigation. The obvious suspect is the girl's pimp but he doesn't seem to be their man. They soon have another suspect. Meanwhile, Rusty's father shows up at the station wanting to meet his son. Written by
