A man is beaten within an inch of his life. Longmire has been drinking (which is not an unusual thing) and calls his deputy and they go to the scene of the crime. Soon we have a story involving rodeo cowboys and clowns, a woman who is incredibly attractive but unhappy. A missing, 300,000 dollar painting. And a problem with guilt.
