Boss The Conversation
30 September 2012 | by (Ireland) – See all my reviews

Meredith was come across Tom's computer and all that is on it. The next day he walks in the door unaware of all that has happened in Chicago. The public and the council were both told different stories about where Kane was and know they must figure out what their new story is. The press ask the questions and Tom can still answer then. His advisers are still getting closed out because Meredith is now the main adviser taking on the role of Lady MacBeth type role. Trying to put out a press release is always hard and it would be bad for a man like Kane to make a public statement even when his wife thinks it would be good he disagree's. This show does take it influences from MacBeth even Meredith using any means she can to get what she wants. Awkward scene in the kitchen between Emma and Ian admitting that his mother was a drunk trying to connect with her. Tom even goes to the funeral of Jerome, it upsets Mona who did not want him to do something like this. Emma visits her grandfather and gives some of his medication, but before she can in comes Mean Mommy to tell her to stop. A call Tom had about Jerome leaks and it just shows the lengths the press will go to. For like the tenth time in this episode the directors seems to be using the image of one eye to portray what the person is feeling in a few simple words. Once again Starz shows that can really anything they want. Darius does manage to get 5K and get all the charges pressed against Emma are gone. Just as Mona is about to walk out of Kane's office she confronts him and it's a risky move especially to take with him. He then tells her that it was a mistake to hire her but still keeps her employed, which is unlike his usual character maybe because of his last week that made him better. When Kane gets so much records he redacts some of it but sends in all. However some of the files are fine which was maybe a small mistake. Kane goes to find his wife with his computer, she tells him that she has seen everything. While she talks to him she is still using her breather because she is not in the best of health. OK episode but it showed that Meredith is very controlling of Tom, which is what I like to see in female characters.

EPISODE GRADE: B- (MVP: Connie Nelson)
