Storyline

A documentary producer, David Stevens is a thoughtful professional, currently making a film about the "Victims Of The Recession". Convinced that the Malone family are a good subject because of their financial loss and the story of the orphaned teenage boy they've recently adopted, David follows them throughout the move exploring the intra-familial tension, as well as their awkward integration into a somewhat hostile new neighborhood. Inclined to be a quietly murmuring questioner, David does his best not to take center stage, to keep his focus on the Malones and their rapid descent down the ladder of socio-economic status. Heart warming story of a family who lost friends, and neighbors of Malibu CA
13 October 2014 | by (United States LA) – See all my reviews

Heart warming story of a family who lost friends, and neighbors of Malibu CA and had to move to North Hollywood area that was not received well by the family members.

On top of Kelly got the news to be pregnant in this difficult life moment and didn't know how and when to tell her mom about it.

As many of us today are in similar situation, this film presents and portrait those challenges in a wonderful family oriented way with so many Christian values.

There seems to be no other film like Edge of Salvation presenting how to overcome life's challenges and stick together in a difficult time. Not only loosing home because of financial crises, getting suddenly pregnant, moving to not a save area to continue in their future but also dealing with loosing a family member. Extraordinary executed writing by Luciano Saber. To see the harmony in the cast and fun playing those difficult characters it's very challenging for such young actors which was done with great professionalism. This land needs more films made by Luciano Saber the creator and writer behind this awesome work.
