At one point you see a 40 km/h speed limit sign. These signs where not used in 80's when this movie takes place.

Obligatory stickers on number plates used on all cars in Norway from 1993 to 2012 are not present in the late 90's / early 2000's time lime during the funeral of the main character father.

The plot takes place in the mid-80's. However, the Jeep Cherokee driven by the guide in Rjukan (played by actor Henrik Mestad) has a registration plate letter combination (CF) which was not used in Norway until year 2001.

When the family is up under Mount Gausta, tenting, the mountain is clouded down, but during the conversation and different camera-angles, the mountain is clear, as can be when the next frame shows the majestic mountain behind them. The clouds and fog couldn't disappear like that in 5 seconds.
