Storyline

The level of collaboration at "Bombshell" and "Hit List" are taking divergent paths. Derek has his big budget sensibility in directing "Hit List" and is able to stick to his vision within the limited budget. However, that vision doesn't sit well with Jimmy, who voices his opposition. Their relationship is further negatively affected by Derek's hands off statement concerning Karen, who doesn't know why Jimmy has not approached her romantically. On the other hand, Tom, now the director of "Bombshell", wants to please everyone, especially his new star Ivy, by listening to and incorporating their ideas. However, Tom's juggling act has its own problems, especially in trying to incorporate an idea more for his own personal rather than professional reason. Derek and Tom may have to find a common middle ground for both their productions to succeed. Meanwhile, Julia is trying to mend a fifteen year estrangement with Scott. Smash The Bells and Whistles

After the complete reshuffle of Bombshell and Hitlist now the two shows seem to be going better with Tom being Derek and Derek listening to things Jimmy has to say. Tom wants his ex in Bombshell but couldn't making him lose his job which was just nothing and I couldn't care less for this short time fling. Julia wanted to connect with an old friend Scott and in the end he forgave her. Jimmy has now slept with Karen which is OK but the fight between Jimmy and Derek over her seemed quite laughable. Ana Vargas singing "If I Were A Boy" was meant to be a great performance but was laughably bad for me that I was shocked Derek was made care about it. The only exciting thing about watching next week is Bernadettte will make her return to the show as Ivy's mother who know has a part in Bombshell which will give Peters something to sing and Peters was also good in her appearances last season. A very bad episode with not even an original song for me to care about.
