Smash makes it's move to Saturday maybe to die but still I watch just to get to the end of the show. This week's second episode featured a guest appearance of legendary Liza Minnelli playing herself of course to celebrate the birthday of Ivy as a gift from Tom because the two no longer get along. Liza was OK because all she really did was sing a duet with Christian Borle and while she was good the song was boring and did not make much of an impression. Each of the musicals seem to get closer to each other with Julia working close with Scott as a help to the Hit List show. Karen was in a love triangle with Jimmy and Derek and now while she has picked Jimmy as her boyfriend she has lost a lot in the show because it was changed and the diva character is the best thing about the show. Nothing else in the episode was worth talking about because it is either bad or a non presence in the episode overall. The show continues to make the Broadway scene look bad which is sad compared to how exciting it could be.
