Fun and Suspenseful

I watched this movie last night and really liked it. I work as a computer programmer and was intrigued by its AI and machine learning theme. It is an animated movie and the story reminded me of a cross between a Alfred Hitchcock suspense (Like North by Northwest or something) and a good Tintin story. The artwork style is something different and a nice change from other animated films. The story, a kind of sci-fi adventure thriller kept me on the edge of my seat and the plot moved at a brisk pace. At no time did I feel bored. I would definitely recommend it if you are an animation or comics fan and enjoy a good yarn.

The story will appeal to a general audience, although it is not really for small children (who may have a hard time understanding some of the technological concepts). It's not that it is rocket science, but it seems that the film is aimed more to a teenage to adult crowd. Some of the suspenseful elements of the plot can be intense, but that is what keeps you on the edge of your seat.

Something that I find interesting about The Mind Machine is that it was done by a small studio which gives it a personal touch.

I would definitely recommend this movie.
