In this final episode, Doron makes a major mistake because of his "feelings" for Maya, who in my eyes is just a whiny traitor. If there is a 5th series I hope she's incarcerated for life for traison. Of all the characters so far, she is the most despicable, with her muddled morals and entitlement issues. She betrayed her husband, her employer and her country for her traitor turncoat of a brother Omar and yet she behaves as if she's a victim. Somebody should remind her that it was Omar who set the tragic chain of events in motion... It's also a shame to see Doron being so stupidly sentimental, maybe it's good that he's on the way out.
Given the nature of this series and its gritty realism, it would be absurd to expect any sort of happy ending, and none of the previous series ended on a particular cheerful note. However, in this series the authors outdid themselves as far as tragic developments are concerned.
The team was already going to dissolve, with most members tired, burned out and overwhelmed by personal issues, with the sole exception of Sagi and maybe Nurit... but they should think about their child, more than anything else. Everybody else wanted out or was already out, like Doron. With even Gabi as the shadow of himself the only way I see this series continuing is with fresh blood. In fact I hope that if they make another series, they will present a new team of younger individuals.
It's only human that this bunch would go out, one way or another. They're old and tired and have seen too much, especially Doron who totally lost his edge.
