Inside the Actors Studio: Brad Pitt (2012)
*** (out of 4)
Hour long episode features Brad Pitt as guest and he talks about films including THELMA AND LOUISE, TWELVE MONKIES, SEVEN, THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON, THE TREE OF LIFE and MONEYBALL. I was a little surprised at some of the films they overlooked but overall this is a pretty good interview with Pitt who seems very comfortable answering questions and there's no doubt that he's extremely charming and entertaining throughout. One of the reasons more movies aren't covered is that there are a few other things talked about including pranking George Clooney, the tabloid issue and of course the work he does with charity. More often than not this series focuses in on movies and movies only so it was a little strange seeing these other topics discussed but thankfully they don't take up too much time. One of the best stories has Pitt talking about how he came out to Hollywood and another good one is his thoughts about working with Morgan Freeman. The story told about Freeman is priceless and I certainly won't ruin it here.
