A perfectly proper English detective drama.
23 January 2013 | by (England) – See all my reviews

Well, "Detective" is possibly the wrong word. "Sleuth" is possibly a better term.

For me, an avid Christie fan, these are a refreshing, relaxing drama. Nothing to gruesome...not that I have a problem with gruesome or dark. It's just nice sometimes to watch a "nice" detective program.

I believe the series is only ten episodes, to my knowledge there are roughly fifty stores. I truly hope they make all of them.

It is set in the twenties in England so it may appear a little "stuffy" to Americans but I'm sure Anglophiles will love it.

Thumbs up from Gormogon.
