Storyline
Plot Summary |
Business at the Schwarzwaldhof is going well, but the members of the Hofer family have to deal with all sorts of amorous worries and complications. Veronika was finally able to persuade her partner Max to move in with her. Since then, however, Max has felt neglected by the hotel manager, who is always on call. The romantic togetherness gives way more and more to an everyday routine. The arrival of the famous concert pianist Richard Cornelius in the Schwarzwaldhof doesn't make things any easier: the worldly artist turns out to be Veronika's former childhood sweetheart. Even though he knows that she is in safe hands, Cornelius starts flirting with her straight away. No wonder Max is seething with jealousy. Meanwhile, it is exactly the opposite for junior manager Stefan. He fell in love at first sight with the charming Polish woman Ewa, who is applying for a job as a geriatric nurse for his grandfather Albert. Although Veronika's mother Lore would prefer to hire an older and less attractive lady, Albert is also immediately enchanted by Ewa's easy-going manner. Stefan's sister Merle has no butterflies in her stomach. She has to realize that her marriage to chef Martin is at an impasse. The ambitious culinary artist only thinks about his job and stands in the kitchen until late in the evening. In his spare time he is tired and worn out. He tries to reduce the stress with alcohol - and slides straight into addiction. Merle tries in vain to help him. The situation keeps getting worse. Until the desperate Martin sees no way out and makes a dramatic decision. Written by ARD Das Erste |
