I love her voice
28 October 2016 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

I'm surprised that this was referred to as "Vampire Reviews" and didn't have Maven's name in the title. This is a series on Channel Awesome that features a reviewer known as Maven reviewing vampire related stuff. I know a lot of people don't seem to care for her, but I really do like her. I think it's mostly because she just has this great voice. It perfectly sets the mood for anything vampire related. Usually, reviewers do stuff like only movies or only video games or only comics books. I admit that I don't like the idea of just a single kind of media. It seems like you limit yourself with only vampire stuff.

With that being said, I still really enjoy Maven. It's always interesting to learn about a different kind of fandom. I'm not much into vampires. I'm surprised there aren't zombie reviewers on the website. She still works hard. I mean, she ended up saying good things about the Twilight series and you really do learn a lot about the vampire mythology from her. Yeah, she's not as good as the Nostalgia Critic or Linkara, but I still recommend her. ***1/2
