Ramirez takes Quentin and Clyde to meet his Immortal old friend Stevenson, a brilliant, if stoic, scientist who's turned the ruins of his huge ancient hydroelectric power plant that got destroyed during the apocalyptic events 700 years ago into a great library where he stores all knowledge with the help of his many scribes - including the schematics for Kortan's city fortress of Mogonda from which the Immortal tyrant rules with an iron fist over the land. Once there, Quentin has a strange feeling that something isn't quite right.
