Classic Dallas is Back
22 June 2012 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

This is one of those episodes that is mostly set-up with some tung-in-cheek humor. JR gets a rifle pointed at him and says "that hasn't too successful with me before" or something to that effect making fun of the original "Who Shot JR?" Still, the ammo is getting loaded for fireworks down the road here. Cliff Barnes is back in the hunt too. There are more hints about what happened to Pamela Barnes Ewing, Bobby's wife of years ago.

The most interesting tidbit here is the start of the building up of Christopher's newly minted wife from episode 1. It seems she has a bit of a dark side but unfortunately John Ross Junior now knows about that. The big question ahead is how he will use this information? A hallmark of the old series is information like this being used in a lot of ways including sex. Bobby is getting omen good lines like his one about rattle snakes here. The action is yet to come, stay tuned Dallas fans.
