Not as frosty as you'd expect.
A look at the history of ice cream in The UK, from its early days where two brands battled out a competitive, but friendly market, to the eighties and nineties, where the competition was cranked up several notches.
For me, I've never really loved ice cream, so it's a little hard to totally get into this, I know many people just love it.
It really is an interesting watch, what's nice to see here is the big boys admitting that their competitors make good products, compare that to the awful people on the chocolate episode. If anyone dared say that Haagen Dazs was poor, it would be impossible to taken them seriously, these were all quite gracious.
Amazing to see the way in which children were used for marketing purposes, companies got away with so much.
What's interesting, is seeing how Walls continued to push products such as Cornetto and Carte d'Or, bringing them bank from the brink of obscurity, and reinventing them.
7/10.
