*sigh* What happened to this show. Once, it was a meaningful, fun, yet also serious TV series. Now, well let's say it's not. After a disappointing series filled with horrendous episodes like 'The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe', 'Dinosaurs on a Spaceship', 'The Power of Three', 'The Snowmen', 'The Rings of Akhaten', 'Hide', 'Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS'....ugh, it's every episode! Anyway, then we get 'The Crimson Horror', perhaps the worst so far. I'm not really going to review it like I usually do, because there's just too much wrong with it. But let's just say it was written by Mark Gatiss (the 2nd worst Dr Who writer behind Chris Chibnall), and even in the glory days of Dr Who, he'd always write the worst episode in the season. Just wish they'd get Russel T Davies back. The moment Moffat took over, it just sunk. He was such a good writer under Davies, with episodes like 'Blink' and 'The Girl in the Fireplace', then he became head writer and the show died. Despite hating the show now, it can be repaired (possibly) in the following ways: 1. Return Russel T Davies to head writer position 2. Sack Chris Chibnall and Mark Gatiss 3. Bring back David Tennant and Rose/Martha/Donna 4. Say that all seasons after Season 4 are non-canonical and start over Problem solved. Sure, there were a handful of episodes worthwhile after Season 4, but not enough to save the show. Please BBC, take this advice and watch your viewing figures soar!
