Except Kalyani Priyadarshini nothing elsee is good to talk about this movie. Storyline is good but the taking and screenplay is very very bad. No interesting scenes or dialogues at all. First 30 minutes of movie is bearable trying to build the story and after thatovie has lost momentum. The inspirational dialogues didn't work out at all. Villains are weak and has no impact at all. Climax processings are not good at all. For such a good story line island idea there should be some interesting scenes and plot ideas that would have made movie a great success. Very boring movie overall, worth watching only for Kayani.

A well-made movie - Felt like watching a contemporary version of 'How Old Are You'

I saw this movie on Netflix today after seeing many positive reviews. A well-made movie. Movies like this deserve a good turnout in theaters, but sadly, that's not happening these days.
Kalyani Priyadarshan has come a long way and in this movie we saw a Kalyani smashing the matured role she had. I liked the way she managed the nuances of the character which she played in the movie. Supporting actors were also fine throughout.
As mentioned above, movies like this should attract an audience, but I guess due to less promotion, people are not hearing enough about movies like this. Good promotions should be done to promote movies like this.

This is a beautiful story of a Malabari girl born into a middle class family .The movie shows her journey as she strives to become a lady commentator. Hassling through each obstacle that falls in her way, Fathima aka Kalyani keeps a cool and optimistic view of life though she is adamant that all disputes can be solved by talking it through.
Her optimism does bring her more opportunities from unseen places and helps her move forward to achieve her dream.
This movie has a pretty straight forward and an optimistic storyline. It can be seen as a short message for ambitious girls to not give up and to think out of the box. This movie effortlessly sets a cheerful atmosphere to watch.

Confession time: We're not big Kalyani Priyardarshan fans, buuuut she rocked this film😃
-The movie's synopsis was already interesting 'cos it made you wanna find out who was this daring girl wanting to become a commentator. It was an original plot
The story started smoothly by inviting us into her world right from a young age. We got to understand when her nonstop chatter started and got to experience the kind atmosphere in her family and neighborhood.
You could tell that Manu C Kumar was intentional about every scene as he wanted us to love and sympathize with Fathima, and we did!
-Loved the colorful images and close-up shots that added more flavor to the storytelling. The moment when Fathima did her first football commentary was phenomenal😍 Kudos to the sound engineers!
-Apart from the themes of perseverance and courage, it was special that Fathima insisted on fighting for her dream in a passive way. She was never disrespectful and never encouraged being aggressive contrary to her friend Solomon
Additionally, she mastered her passion. She went the extra mile by studying the science of sports, and that was very encouraging to see.
Thank you to the cast and crew for such a wonderful experience.
