Writer/Director Hadrian Hooks has created an interesting low budget Horror with the old "Based on a true Story" routine. This isn't a bad thing but it doesn't always work. In this case it isn't too bad with a believable set up which is something these Horrors almost always suffer from. I'm sure you've sat there on numerous occasions shouting at the TV screen asking why in the hell that group of people are going into the woods after being warned about crazy killers/ghosts/witches/Justin Bieber or another Horror I might have forgotten but out they all go, like lambs to the slaughter.
After a silly bet by a friend who challenges another friend (who badly needs $800) to spend 24 hours in these woods that are famous for mysterious disappearances, six of the buddies all go out for the night and one by one they wish they hadn't. The acting is not bad for an Indie horror with a very low budget, the story itself seems to be written a bit better than your average films of this class. Don't get me wrong, plot holes are there but nothing worth bothering about. Basically it's been put together by someone who cares about their film and it does show. It's not the best I've seen but I did enjoy it and that's enough for me.
