Familiar pieces of classic fairy tales - Cinderella seems be the main one - in clothes of film noir .

Beautiful acting - Peter Hall offers an admirable portrait of his Frank, Hillary Stang is inspired Alice . And a story with reverberances of jazz improvisation.

A date and a serious obstacle against happiness. A fight, a homeless more than grateful and the clock. And the atmosphere more than familiar, impecable crafted.

A man who can not be remembered trying fix his life , desperately , with full unsucces.

The hope of the beggening, the bitterness of the final. And something who can be only feeled by viewer, without can be explained , especialy if it represents the stain of a not so different experience.
