Side elements and subplots lift the whole

Plot; An energy drill threatens to destroy Argon City.

The basic plot here is sort of weak and flimsy, but it serves as a vessel for some strong subplots, good (and intriguing) character moments and exciting action. Beck struggles with hiding his activities from his friends, and this will seemingly have devastating consequences as one of them begins to feel resentment for this renegade Tron imposter and that's used to lure him into the opposition.

Not every story is going to be a winner, but if they can continue to integrate these strong subplots and fun action, it'll grease the narrative gears.
